Timothy B. Meyers, DDS

Dr. Meyers grew up in Maryland and attended the University of Maryland, College Park for his undergraduate degree in Microbiology. During undergraduate training he became a life member of the Delta Sigma Phi national fraternity. He completed dental school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

Dr. Meyers served five years in the US Navy as a general dentist. During his Navy time, he received the Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Overseas Service ribbon and the Rifle Marksmanship Ribbon. He met his wife, Lori, while serving with the Marines in Okinawa, Japan.

After serving in the Navy, Dr. Meyers completed his endodontic residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, During his residency he led a collaborative research project between the USC Dental and Engineering schools and he has been listed as a co-inventor for a Nanosecond Pulsed Plasma Dental Probe. The invention is currently under patient review and has received an NIH grant.

He has been in private practice in Houston, Texas for the past several years. Dr. Meyers was listed in Houston’s H Magazine in their Top Dentists edition in 2009. He and Lori have two children and have enjoyed making the Upper Valley area their new home.
